This is a beautiful exhibit and extraordinarily well presented! The 92 yr old Bahian artist,known as Mestre Didi,has over 50 spectacular sculptures on display. Made of palm leaves,reeds,leather,shells and beads the artist transforms these materials into contemporary art.

This museum is a great place to take out of town guests! Enjoy a nice walk in the park,visit the museum and finish with a coffee or a refreshing agua de coco in one of the two outdoor coffee shops.
