RAINFOREST LIFE
Displayed in 40 panels, renowned Brazilian photojournalists will portray the beauty, as well as the problems of the Amazon, in a photo exhibition organized by famous photographer Jorge Araújo, of Folha de São Paulo. In addition to winning more than 60 national and international awards, Jorge Araújo has won the Esso Award in 1979, the Wladimir Herzog Award, and the Nikon Award in Japan. Furthermore he has covered 5 World Cups, 4 Olympic Games, and traveled more than 20 times to the Amazon jungle.
Araújo selected images from the following photojournalists: Ricardo Stuckert, Paulo Whitaker, Pisco Del Gaiso, Paulo Santos, Paulo Liebert, Antonio Gaudério, Marlene Bergamos, Jonne Roriz, Celso Junior, Juca Varela, João Wainer, André Penner e Lalo de Almeida.

SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
The concept of sustainability will also be present at this event. Some of the dishes will be prepared with the Brazilian Nutand its extract, such as the extra virgin oil.
The products originate from the “Ouro Verde Amazônia” that operate and extract its products in a completely fair and environmentally correct way. The “Muaná Alimentos” will be providing the organic Açaí Palm, which will be prepared by Chef Nonato on the grill and be served with its pulp “in natura”.
Porto Rubaiyat will join together great supporters of science, gastronomy, politics and the culture of the Amazon rainforest a few weeks before the December COP-15, a world conference on Climate Change that will take place in Copenhagen.
