Born in Havana, Cuba in 1954. Graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 1976 with a B.A. (cum laude) in Studio Art. Received a M.A. in Art Education from New York University in 1978. Has lived in Cuba, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, the United States and Brazil, where she currently resides. Her sculpture has been exhibited in various group exhibitions and galleries in the U.S., France, Puerto Rico and Brazil.  |
Alina,a member of the American Society and well known in the international community,
is an artist whose work is a pleasure to see! Her spirit and joy for life are reflected in her colorful,youthful sculptures! An exhibit not to miss!
